They don't have any interest in the company, it's products or even what they are selling. Their main goal is making money and when they fail it's easy to blame someone else.

If they were truly pressured into buying something, maybe they have issues that reach farther than they are willing to admit. Since you have to be 18 in order to enter into any contract, you are considered to be an adult; as an adult you have the freedom to make your own decisions and therefore nobody should be able to pressure you into purchasing something you don't want. It's better to admit that you were interested and thought it was worth trying than being embarrassed because it wasn't easy. More than likely you fall into bullet point number one or you need Mommy and Daddy around to help you make decisions.

Just because you made a decision that doesn't fit your lifestyle, either because someone, "pressured" you into a decision, or because you are too lazy to make a commitment to something that will take time and effort,
there is no reason to blame a company that has a great product.

REMEMBER: Distributors are NOT employees and they are the people that are doing the, "High Pressure" sales of the Symmetry products. Symmetry corporation is not responsible for how people act, nor can they police their actions. Don't try to blame a corporation for something they can't control. If you would like to avoid the confusion, be an adult and contact Symmetry directly and ask questions.

Pressure from friends and family can either shore-up or cripple anyone. If you want to do something, don't do it for the money, do it because you like it; if you approach anything with complete dedication, it will come more naturally and you can feel confident that you have succeeded, even if you don't become rich.

When it comes to something like Symmetry products, most people who are complaining about the business end of it have never even tried the products! As for me, I am a firm believer in the products, I don't have to sell the products, they sell themselves:

Our friends notice that we do not get sick.

We have more energy than a lot of people.

I have fewer aches and pains from previous injuries without the need to take medications; in fact, I rarely take Motrin or other pain relievers any more.

I have lost over 27 pounds since taking Symmetry Genesis and the Ultra Vitality alone!

We only mention the vitamins in passing if people ask about energy or the things we do to stay healthy.

We get a small payment from Symmetry when others purchase things "from us".

I'm not embarrassed to mention Symmetry products to people, because they do for me and my family exactly what they say they are supposed to do.

We have no expectations of getting rich, and any financial success we may have from the Symmetry program is a direct result of our efforts; if we do nothing, we get nothing, if we promote it properly, carefully and responsibly, we benefit.

So, for those people who need something to complain about, there are many things in this world that need more attention than your failure to, "Just Say No", or your personal need to improve your work ethics. Relax and enjoy life!

We Moved to Nebraska

We made it! Our new home state of Nebraska is far prettier than California and we are pleased to be here. The people are friendly and the country out here is absolutely gorgeous.

The move went well, and driving the Budget rental truck was a little like a history lesson! I could imagine the warriors of old driving Sherman Tanks in the thick of battle... the Budget rental truck felt just about the same... kludging up hills at a whopping 20 mph, and enough jolt to rattle the teeth without actually losing any. Then of course the steering while loaded was interesting as there was just enough play in that when rolling down hill through the twisting hills it felt as if the truck would lurch either over the center line or off the edge of the road!

So, white knuckled and a little weary, we rolled into Chadron, NE a little after 6pm on Monday night, the terrors of Budget rental trucks forgotten while looking out at the scenery and the gentle rolling hills surrounding our beautiful new home.

For all my complaining... and I am mostly kidding... mostly, out trip was very pleasant, and we are excited to finish out the year in Nebraska, and even more excited about the upcoming year with new projects and affiliate programs that will blow anyone else out of the water, so keep checking to see what we have upcoming!

Cheers!

Nilla Waffers - House Goo Bombs

It has been some time since I have had little ones running around, but recently we visited the grocery store, and purchased some Vanilla Wafers, (the off-brand of Nilla Wafers, but still tasty) and I was reminded of how when our kids were just wee tikes we would give them wafers.

Of course, most parents have a favorite, multi-purpose teething / hush food, ours was Nilla (or Vanilla) Wafers. At any rate, I had to smile when we made our purchase becuase I was always amazed that a little tiny wafer, when handed to small child who is teething, can generate enough goo to cover the inside of an entire house!

While cleaning house is of course always a good practice, with toddlers armed with Nilla Wafers, it's almost considered self-defense!

It really makes me impatient for my grandkids; I look forward to arming them with goo bombs as they are getting into their parents vehicle to see if they generate the expected amount of goo! I'm sure that the results will be apparent by my kids reaction the next time I try to give them wafers on their way home. If I hear, "Yeah, dad, maybe we'll wait until we get home before they get these.", then I will know my evil plan succeeded!

Moo Ha Ha

Blind Faith

Okay, for anyone that knows me, I have a REALLY big issue with SEO companies; for the most part, they are like high school, "web developers". A few people will get together, search the internet, collect a few tools and start a business based on the promises covered on the cover of the software they just purchased.

SEO is really a simple process... we all remember going to the library in elementary school and learning how to find things in the library, besides that fact that the schools I attended always higherd women who where roughly one thousand years old and would be happy to live in vacuum for all the noise they would allow, the library was a very early example of SEO. Think about it, you had the big old oak structures with about a bazillion tiny drawers in them, and they all had a title of some sort to get you started in your search.

Well, Search Engines are not much different... okay, slightly more sophisticated, but the premise is basically the same. You start your search with an idea of what you want to find, you find the, "tiny little drawer" (search term) that contains the information you want, open it, and you are presented with a list of all the titles of books (or in this case websites) that are relevant to your query.

What really gets people confused is that they assume that, "any ol' search will do", and of course many SEO companies will let you run with that assumption because they want your money. All searches are targeted. In other words, if you are looking for a Stuffed Pink Elephant for your favorite niece, you may not want to search for African Wildlife. Just because elephants are typically found in Africa, (and India, and yes a few other places) you may be disappointed. Sure you will get a few obscure articles about some people who have painted their neighbors elephant, or the latest art exhibit featuring elephants made from cotton candy, but is that what you are looking for?

A more successful search would be something like, "Pink Toy Elephants" or something along those lines. Successful retailers will know this and align their product description to meet those needs as closely as they can, thus, you will have a happy niece!

So what am I babbling about? Content! Think about how people might search for your product or service, make a list of Keywords or possible Search Terms, then build your content around those. This will serve two purposes, it will help your content align with your desired target Keywords and Search Terms, and should also allow you to write short concise content. Now all you have to do, using a variation of the same Keywords you have already compiled, is make a short title for your particular website page and apply that in the header of your document.

Relevance matters, so, in review:

Compile a list of Keywords or possible Search Terms

Write good concise content developed around your Keywords and Search Terms

Apply a title to your document based on the same Keywords or Search Terms

This will help ensure that when someone searches for something that matches your content, then everything else will line-up and you should see a marked improvement in your Search Engine Placement.

So why then do SEO companies make it sound as if they have a vast amount of knowledge that makes them so far above the rest of mankind? Because they may not have any knowledge at all, all they know is what the software promises, and what their supervisor trained them to say.

Don't pay for somebody's software, take a moment and seek out a REAL SEO company. You will know you have found them when they start talking about Content Writers and structuring your content, NOT what reports they will send you and how many search engines they will submit you to. To a reputable SEO company Keywords and Search Terms come as a result of well written content, they may cost a little more, but they are worth the money.

Enough of my SEO rant for now,
Cheers!

Coming Soon

I just started to crank this bugger up and then Rachel Ray decided to entice me to watch her cook on T.V.
